Terms of Use and Participation Agreement
Provider: Christ in Private Practice, Inc.
NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP No. 8038)
Effective Date: August 2026
By enrolling in, purchasing, accessing, or participating in a course, live training, on-demand program, digital product, or membership offered by Christ in Private Practice, Inc., you ("Participant") agree to the following Terms of Use and Participation Agreement.
1. Continuing Education Credit & Licensing Board Responsibility
Christ in Private Practice, Inc. is an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP No. 8038). Programs that qualify for continuing education credit will identify the type and number of CE hours offered in the individual course description and promotional materials.
Licensing Board Requirements: Continuing education requirements vary by profession, license type, jurisdiction, and renewal cycle. Participants are responsible for determining whether a particular program meets the requirements of their licensing or credentialing board.
Registration for or completion of a course does not guarantee that a licensing board will accept the course toward a particular licensing requirement.
Course Completion Requirements: Participants must satisfy all requirements identified for the specific course before a CE certificate will be issued.
Requirements may include, as applicable:
Attendance for the required instructional time;
Completion of attendance-verification procedures;
Participation in required interactive activities;
Completion of a post-test or other assessment;
Achievement of any required passing score;
Completion of the participant evaluation; and
Any additional requirements stated in the individual course description.
Requirements may differ between live/synchronous programs and on-demand/home-study programs.
2. Live Virtual Continuing Education Programs
Participants attending live virtual CE programs are expected to attend and participate for the required instructional period.
Attendance may be verified through methods including platform attendance records, login and logout data, participation checks, polls, codes, chat responses, or other reasonable verification methods.
Participants who arrive late, leave early, are absent for a portion of the required instructional time, or otherwise fail to satisfy attendance or participation requirements may not be eligible to receive full or partial CE credit.
Participants are responsible for maintaining a reliable internet connection and a device capable of accessing the virtual training platform. Technical difficulties should be reported to Christ in Private Practice, Inc. as soon as reasonably possible. Individual technical problems do not automatically qualify a participant for CE credit when required instructional time has not been completed.
3. On-Demand and Home-Study Continuing Education Programs
Participants completing on-demand or home-study CE programs must complete all required instructional materials, assessments, evaluations, and other stated course requirements before a CE certificate will be issued.
Where a passing assessment score is required, the required score and any opportunities for reassessment will be identified within the course.
Course access, completion requirements, and certificate eligibility are subject to the terms stated in the individual course description.
4. CE Certificates & Participant Records
CE certificates are issued only after all applicable course-completion requirements have been satisfied.
Participants are responsible for providing accurate information for their certificates, including their name and, when requested, professional license information.
Participants should retain a copy of each CE certificate for their professional records, even when Christ in Private Practice, Inc. reports course completion to CE Broker or another authorized reporting system.
Participants are responsible for reviewing their certificate and promptly notifying Christ in Private Practice, Inc. of any errors.
5. CE Broker Reporting
Christ in Private Practice, Inc. provides CE Broker reporting for eligible Georgia counselors, social workers, and marriage and family therapists; South Carolina LPCs and LMFTs; and Mississippi LPCs.
Participants requesting or eligible for CE Broker reporting must provide an accurate license type and license number and satisfy all applicable course-completion requirements.
Participants should verify that reported CE credit appears correctly in their CE Broker account and promptly contact Christ in Private Practice, Inc. if they identify an error in information reported by the provider.
CE Broker reporting is limited to the states and license types identified above. Reporting of a course to CE Broker does not guarantee that the course will satisfy a participant's particular licensing, renewal, ethics, or other continuing education requirement.
Participants remain responsible for understanding and satisfying the requirements of their individual licensing board.
6. Refunds, Cancellations & Transfers
Christ in Private Practice, Inc. strives to provide high-quality continuing education programs.
Live Virtual Programs: Full refunds are available when cancellation is requested at least 7 days before the scheduled program start date. Cancellations received within 7 days of the program may, at the discretion of Christ in Private Practice, Inc., be eligible for a credit toward a future program.
On-Demand/Home-Study Programs: Due to the digital nature of these programs, refunds are generally not provided after course materials have been accessed or a CE certificate has been issued.
Provider Cancellation: If Christ in Private Practice, Inc. cancels a live program, registered participants will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to transfer their registration to a rescheduled program, when available.
7. Membership Billing & Cancellation
Paid memberships automatically renew according to the billing interval disclosed at enrollment unless canceled.
Participants may cancel a membership through their account settings or other cancellation method provided by Christ in Private Practice, Inc. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not ordinarily result in a refund of previously processed membership fees.
Access continues through the end of the applicable paid billing period unless otherwise stated.
Courses, CE opportunities, consultation activities, or other benefits included with a membership may change over time. Participation in a membership does not itself guarantee CE credit.
8. Educational Purpose & Professional Responsibility
Courses and educational materials provided by Christ in Private Practice, Inc. are intended for professional education and development.
Educational content does not constitute psychotherapy, clinical supervision, medical advice, legal advice, or an individualized professional consultation unless a service is expressly identified as such.
Participants remain responsible for exercising their own professional judgment, practicing within their scope of competence and licensure, and complying with applicable laws, regulations, ethical standards, and licensing-board requirements.
9. Confidentiality in Live Trainings and Case Discussions
Live trainings may include participant discussion, clinical examples, case consultation, or interactive exercises.
Participants agree to protect client confidentiality and must not disclose personally identifiable or protected health information during course discussions, chat messages, case examples, or other training activities.
When discussing clinical situations, participants should alter or omit identifying information sufficiently to protect the identity and privacy of clients and other individuals.
Participants also agree to respect the privacy of other attendees and not record, photograph, screenshot, distribute, or publicly share participant discussions without authorization.
10. Intellectual Property & Recording
Course videos, presentations, slides, handouts, worksheets, written materials, graphics, recordings, and other educational content are owned by or licensed to Christ in Private Practice, Inc. unless otherwise indicated.
Materials are provided for the individual educational use of the registered Participant.
Participants may not reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, upload, share, teach from, modify for redistribution, or use course materials to provide training to others without prior written permission.
Login credentials may not be shared.
Participants may not independently audio-record, video-record, photograph, screen-record, or otherwise capture live or recorded programs unless express permission has been provided.
11. Non-Discrimination
Christ in Private Practice, Inc. does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, age, disability, marital status, gender, sexual orientation, or any other status protected by applicable law in its continuing education activities.
Some programs may address religion, spirituality, Christianity, faith integration, or clinical practice from a faith-informed perspective. Participants are not required to accept or adhere to any particular religious belief, doctrine, principle, or creed to participate in a program or receive CE credit.
12. Accessibility & Accommodations
Christ in Private Practice, Inc. is committed to providing an accessible learning environment and making reasonable accommodations for participants with disabilities.
Participants requesting accommodations for a live program are encouraged to contact [email protected] at least two weeks before the scheduled program, when possible, to allow adequate time to arrange appropriate accommodations.
Requests made with less notice will be considered, and reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate the participant when feasible.
Available accommodations may vary based on the course format and individual need.
13. Grievance Policy
Participants may submit grievances concerning course content, continuing education credit, accessibility, administrative matters, or other aspects of a CE program in writing to [email protected].
Grievances should generally be submitted within 30 days following completion of the program.
Christ in Private Practice, Inc. will review the grievance and ordinarily provide an acknowledgment or initial response within 10 business days. The provider will make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter through direct communication with the participant.
Depending on the circumstances, resolution may include correction of administrative records, clarification of CE requirements, transfer to another program, course credit, refund, or another appropriate remedy.
Nothing in this grievance procedure prevents a participant from contacting an applicable credentialing or regulatory organization when appropriate.
14. Privacy & Participant Information
Christ in Private Practice, Inc. collects and maintains participant information necessary to administer courses, document participation, issue continuing education certificates, maintain required CE records, process transactions, and satisfy applicable reporting and regulatory obligations.
Participant information may be processed or disclosed to service providers and reporting organizations as reasonably necessary to operate the educational program, including learning-management, payment, virtual-meeting, certificate, and CE reporting systems.
Professional license information and course-completion information may be submitted to CE Broker or other applicable reporting organizations when reporting is provided for the participant's profession and jurisdiction.
Christ in Private Practice, Inc. will maintain continuing education records in accordance with applicable provider requirements.
15. Third-Party Presenters and Content
Courses may include guest presenters, interviews, podcast excerpts, articles, research, or other third-party educational content.
Views expressed by guest experts or presenters are their own and do not necessarily represent the views or official position of Christ in Private Practice, Inc.
Participants remain responsible for evaluating educational information within the context of their professional responsibilities, applicable ethical standards, and scope of practice.
16. Changes to Programs and Terms
Christ in Private Practice, Inc. may make reasonable changes to course schedules, presenters, educational materials, technology platforms, policies, or these Terms when necessary.
Material changes affecting a participant's registered live program will be communicated when reasonably practicable.
The version of these Terms in effect at the time of enrollment or participation will govern unless otherwise required by law or applicable continuing education standards.
